The silent revolution on restaurant floors
Restaurant floors are gradually coming into their own. They will also be doing so during this talk at FéminAs.
Although this is the visible face of restaurants, as the first contact diners have there, professional floor managers had not been so visible until quite recently, in a revolution that has come about in silence, but has been imposed by necessity. Because the restaurant floor deserves this.
We will be talking about what it is like to work with the general public, the needs of restaurant floors, and how staff are organised with women heading up these areas shared by professionals and enthusiasts of fine gastronomy at restaurants.
