Massaie e Masserie

The "massaie" are the women in charge of the "masserie", Italy's old self-sufficient farmsteads.
Isabella Potí's talk will dwell on the role of these former self-sufficient farms in the Italian region of Salento, known as "masserie", and on the flavours and knowledge treasured and transmitted down through the years.
